Bartram Partnerships represents select property clients, connecting their sponsorship opportunities with relevant brand partners. In representing these sponsored properties, we provide brands’ access to higher-value opportunities.
Although developing and activating strategic partnership programs is part of our core skill set, we also help corporate clients find the highest-impact, most strategically aligned and relevant corporate sponsorships for their brands. That means helping brands facilitate and develop partnerships with the right properties—the best properties with beneficial programs—whether we represent their sponsorship opportunities or not.
These exclusive partnerships are the perfect opportunity for brands to connect with and engage their audiences, while aligning with beloved sports, sustainability and cause-oriented organizations.
Advancing Sustainability
Climate Pledge Arena
The world’s most environmentally advanced sports and entertainment arena is being built in Seattle, opening in the fall of 2021. Climate Pledge Arena is the result of Amazon buying naming rights to its hometown venue and deciding to use the platform to drive environmental awareness and engagement. Tenants include the expansion NHL Seattle Kraken and world champion WNBA Seattle Storm and a robust slate of concerts – with the potential for an expansion NBA team in the next few years. The venue will be the first certified zero carbon and net zero energy sports venue in the world with 100% renewable energy and 100% carbon offsets. Plastics will be eliminated, rainwater recycled for the ice surface, and sustainable and healthy foods will be the predominant food options available.
Bartram Partnerships is a contracted representative of the new venue, being developed by the Oak View Group, one of the world’s largest and most influential sports venue operators. Sustainable partnerships are also available at new OVG sites in Palm Springs, New York, Savannah, Austin and elsewhere.
Players for the Planet
Founded by former Major League Baseball player Chris Dickerson, Players for the Planet is an ever-growing group of professional and collegiate athletes coming together to support environmental action. Players for the Planet are planning events and other activity to support: e-waste recycling, plastic eradication, urban canopy growth (tree planting), zero waste fields and college program development. With MLB’s support and by coordinating with most major league teams, Players for the Planet will drive community action and fan engagement through year-long activities, driven through local promotions and activations.
We are seeking partners for Players for the Planet as we look to introduce new brands and sustainability executives to major league teams and players at this critical point in our evolution.
Green Wave
Most conferences encourage one-way communication and bragging about our accomplishments rather than an honest dialogue about challenges and opportunities. In its third year, Green Wave is a unique experience, a chance to meet other thoughtful leaders while exploring how to drive meaningful change for the environment. Green Wave pivoted from being an intimate 400 person event on the Santa Monica coast to a very effective zoom-based virtual event this past September. Green Wave leadership is now planning up to four such events in 2021 including the first set for January 27-29, with additional events planned on a quarterly basis. The event draws a unique mix of global leaders representing a wide range of high impact organizations. Speakers at the September Green Wave included execs from Harvard, HP, Lockheed Martin, Siemens and Oracle; January speakers will represent Duke University, Vail Resorts, Amazon, Nat Geo, Cargill, MIT and Bayer.
Please contact us for an invitation to participate or if you are interested in being a speaker.
Grounded
Grounded Summit 2020 was to take place in late March in the majestic Sonoma wine country, building off of the inspiring inaugural award-winning 2019 event. Unfortunately, the summit was cancelled due to the pandemic leaving so many speakers, sponsors and attendees disappointed. Sponsors developed for the summit included Bank of the West, Jackson Family Wines, Alaska Airlines, Salesforce, Impossible, Just, Miyoko’s, Equator Coffee and others. The Grounded audience of thought leaders, social influencers, international activists, government officials and corporate executives are bound by the commitment to protect the planet from the unquestionable reality of climate change. Grounded was established in 2018 to identify and accelerate scalable solutions to the climate crisis. Founded by emerging environmental leader Julia Jackson of Jackson Family Wines, Grounded was started to identify and advance climate solutions through a range of activities and partnerships with a goal of collaboratively shifting the response to climate change and to scale proven solutions. Grounded is developing its next round of activity and will soon be seeking strategic partners who believe in a solutions-oriented approach to addressing our climate crisis.
San Francisco Based Properties
The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce has been thrust into the most vital role of virtually any organization in the San Francisco market as the association leads the road to recovery in the city’s business community. Serving a wide range of companies, from mom and pop stores to some of the largest corporations in the world, the SF Chamber has a vital constituency to serve. Chamber members are committed to addressing the needs of the city’s residents through a sense of shared economic resiliency, never more tested than it is now as a result of the pandemic. We are serving the Chamber in an effort to engage a greater number of corporations that are dependent on a thriving San Francisco and a healthy Bay Area economy. Currently this means sponsoring critical programs, virtual events and webinars designed to help steer members and other interested organizations toward recovery and prosperity. Eventually we look to return to our original charge of developing partners to support events, member programs and environmental resiliency – in the meantime, we welcome all to join the SF Chamber’s commitment to rebuilding a better San Francisco through connection and partnership.
